2025 AMC INSTITUTE CANADIAN CHAPTER
CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST IN SERVING ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are currently accepting expressions of interest in serving on the AMC Institute Canadian Chapter Board of Directors.
This is a great opportunity for those who want to be involved in the governance and development of the Canadian Chapter.
We want to encourage anyone who is interested, or knows someone who is interested, to submit the form below and help shape the future of this exciting organization. Any senior leader from an Active member firm of the Association in good standing may either self-nominate or nominate another Active member for a Board of Directors position. Nominees must be a senior leader from an Active member firm in good standing at the time of the nomination and must maintain their membership throughout the term of office.
AMCI Canada has members from Nova Scotia to BC and we would like to have a Board that reflects this.
We currently have four open positions on the Board of Directors, plus up to two more where Director terms are completed.
- These Director positions are for a period of three (3) years beginning January 1, 2025
- All nominations will be reviewed by the AMC Institute Canadian Chapter Governance & Nominating Committee
The slate of nominees will be distributed to the membership on or before November 29, 2024 for approval at the Annual General Meeting on December 11, 2024.

Canadian Chapter hosts AMCI at Opening Reception in Montreal for the AMC’s Engaged Conference
Over 170 Association Management Company (AMC) executives met July 30-31, 2024, in Montreal, Quebec for the AMC’s Engaged! Conference hosted by the AMC Institute (AMCI). This included a record breaking 25 Canadian attendees. To kick off the event, the AMC Institute Canadian Chapter (AMCI Canada), hosted a Welcome reception at Le Westin Montreal. Held in style in the Reporter Bar the event was supported by several sponsors including:
Encore – a huge thank you to Krista Cameron, DES, AMCI Canada Director and VP, Industry Relations, Canada for Encore and the entire Encore team who supported the event. The contribution by Encore and Krista’s vision for this event were invaluable to its success.
Le Westin Montreal – for the fabulous venue, and creativity for working within the ‘Canada’ event theme in the food and beverage presentation.
Pinpoint National Photography – the photography sponsor for the reception who provided two photographers, one for the general event photography, and one for the photo activation.
PC/Nametag – for support of Canada themed name tags that were so popular some were in continued use throughout the conference.
